Bronx Little Italy bakery displayed in gingerbread competition

The Museum of the City of New York hosted its first-ever gingerbread competition, where bakers created gingerbread displays that represent their neighborhoods in the ‘Great Borough Bake-Off’. The edible creations had to be less than 3 feet tall, weigh less than 50 pounds, and must be made with at least 75% of gingerbread. Egidio Pastry Shop represented the Bronx with a gingerbread display of its storefront. Watch and read more, here.
Tree Lighting Ceremonies Not to Miss in New York City

Bronx Little Italy’s Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony is listed among the city’s best. This year’s ceremony will take place Saturday, December 3rd from 4 – 6 pm in Ciccarone Park. Bronx Pharmacy Honored With Empire State Award

Mt. Carmel Pharmacy received the Empire State Award from the New York Senate. The Paganelli family was recognized for their community impact for nearly one hundred years, caring for generations of New Yorkers and never stopping during the COVID-19 pandemic. Armand Paganelli proudly claimed, “we are always here seven days a week for anybody who presents us with a need”. The pharmacy has also added a new wellness center. Eater names Dominick’s and Roberto’s two of the top NYC restaurants
