In an interview with Cristyne Nicholas, tour guide Dario Chiazzolino explains how Italian immigrants moved to the Belmont neighborhood of the Bronx in the late 19th century. Pietro Cinelli, an immigrant from Central Italy, built an Italian-style village to entice Italian immigrants living in Harlem to move to the Bronx. Listen more, here.

Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson and Judge Lina Hidalgo of Houston, TX agreed to a friendly wager on the Houston Astros vs. New York Yankees ALCS (American League Championship Series). Madonia Brothers Bakery Discusses Nationwide Butter Shortage

However, Daniel Calano-Moore, co-owner of Madonia Bakery, keeps prices low despite increasing costs. “We maintain our recipes despite the prices going up, and we do our best to keep the prices the same for our customers, because they have been coming back for a hundred years”.
