Thousands of people flocked to Arthur Avenue to attend the annual Ferragosto Festival in Bronx Little Italy on September 8. “Ferragosto” originates in Italy and dates back hundreds of years as a celebration of the fall harvest. Visitors immersed themselves in Italian culture, food, live music, and entertainment. Alyssa Tucker, Executive Director of the Belmont BID which organizes this event, reflected on how special this day is for bringing the community together and shining a light on the small businesses and neighborhood.
