In its third year and back by popular demand, Piazza di Belmont will return to Bronx Little Italy on Sundays for al fresco dining.
Arthur Ave will turn into a culinary oasis and be closed to vehicular traffic from East 186th St to Crescent Ave from 3pm to 9pm on Sundays through September 25th.
“The Belmont 4”, an acapella group, will visit restaurants on weekend evenings and sing doo-wop, hits from the 50’s through today, and take requests, as they stroll up and down the bustling streets.
Arthur Avenue will be open for cars prior to the the street closure to accommodate shoppers at Bronx Little Italy’s retail stores and outdoor dining will still be available.
